Dark, twisted, funny! Scripted by Tracy Letts, from his own play, "Killer Joe" is a violent, humorous, at times bizarre action drama that isn't afraid to push the envelope. The movie works tremendously thanks to fearless direction by William Friedkin, fearless performances from a talented cast, and a great script.
However, most will find it very hard to sit through such a disturbing scene as the film's ending.
