Star ratings shouldn't apply to films like this. Fantastic performance from McConaughey. Gritty and unabridged characters. Only flaw was the runaway train of a storyline, and even then I'm not convinced it really is a flaw.
Short on comedic relief for the latter part, goes from black comedy to a whole other kind of dark shit that needs to be watched whether you like it or not.
