I didn't think it would be possible to put me off KFC (or K Fried C as it's referred to here) but Matthew McConaughey's mistreatment of my preferred poultry product has contaminated my chicken consumption... for at least a week.
If you wanted to put together a tourism promo for Texas this would not be it. If you wanted to define "redneck", this would be close to perfect. Characters slowly sink into stereotype and by the end it's all a bit cartoonish. Even the central premise, which showed promise, fell disappointingly flat.
