Review of Killer Elite (2011) by Max S — 11 Apr 2012
After Hunter (De Niro) is held captive, Danny (Statham) is forced out of hiding and is told to kill three members of Englandâ(TM)s secret society. Horrible. Horrible, horrible, horrible. I donâ(TM)t think anything worked for this movie.
The acting was horrible, the script was horrid, and the fight scenes were even boring. This movie is the most unrealistic movie of the year. Funny thing is that the movie is based on true events... I was bored.
I thought the movie was boring. Go figure an action movie being boring where is the world coming to? The chair flip scene everyone thought was awesome, was lame. There were two funny fight scenes and besides that everything was just repetitive.
Save your money. Seriously. Killer Elite isnâ(TM)t the worst movie of the year, but it is bad. I donâ(TM)t recommend seeing it. If you are desperate just wait for the DVD release because this movie is truly a bad one.
With that said, I give Killer Elite 2 out of five stars.
