Review of Killer Elite (2011) by Kyle M — 26 Aug 2012
A weird mixture between an old school British action drama with all it rules, formality, regulations, and double-crosses, and a free flowing modern-day Bourne-Identity-type flick with blazing fists and bone crunching fight scenes.
Unfortunately, the film was too long and would of been much better with a good 30 minutes trimmed off. By the end, I really didn't care any more. And I guess the budget was only good enough to get DeNiro to act at 40%.
He doesn't need to overact... just be a little believable for gosh sakes. I did like his subway fight scene though. It was a good Sunday night flick on Netflix. Definitely not worth a 20 buck movie ticket.
