Review of Killer Elite (2011) by Kia M — 06 Apr 2013
Color me impressed. Before seeing "Killer Elite", I would have said it was hard to make a boring movie about professional assassins and the SAS chasing each other across two continents. I stand corrected.
If "Killer Elite" were a kid in middle school, it would be that funny looking kid with the unibrow and too-big army boots who threw paperclips at the other kids and made explosion sound effects with his mouth. Nobody would pick on that kid, they'd just sort of back away if he tried to talk to them. "Killer Elite" would only ever have dry tuna fish sandwiches for lunch, and he would eat the tuna out of the middle and wad the bread up into a ball and leave it in the bottom of his backpack.
