Review of Killer Elite (2011) by Bruce B — 29 Feb 2012

This movie has all of the ingredients to make a great action movie but for some reason it just didn't connect well. Jason Statham is definitely one of the top action stars there is but little else in the movie really seems to have much to it.

I was impressed with Bob De Niro but Clive Owen and the rest of the cast was mediocre at best. I loved that Yvonne Strahovski was in the movie but I didn't see any chemistry between her and Statham.

Hopefully she is in a lot of other movies because she's absolutely beautiful and has good versatility in what she can bring to a movie. I just think the writers/director could've done a better job with their relationship.

Overall though, still a pretty good movie.
