Review of Killdozer (1974) by Tim S — 19 Oct 2013
Killdozer is about as cheesy a title as I can think of when it comes to a genre like this. Basically it's like this: a few men at a construction site are bumped off one by one by a killer bulldozer, hence the name.
The piece of machinery has crashed into a meteorite, which inhabits some kind of life form, that takes control of the bulldozer and sends it on a rampage. Along the way, we learn a little bit about our characters and we watch them to try beat this thing.
It's a made-for-TV movie, so I wasn't expecting much, but I was surprised by how well-filmed it was. Don't get me wrong though. It's silly as hell, but it's worth a good watch, maybe a couple of watches.
Oh, and look for an early appearance by Robert Urich.
