Kill Your Darlings is a beautifully told story with exceptional acting. This is the first time I've seen Daniel Radcliffe outside of the Harry Potter series. I'm surprised and relieved that I not once thought of him as a little kid with a wand.
Kill Your Darlings is a dream for anyone in love with literary art. I really enjoyed the masterful use of foreshadowing to make little jokes. Much of the plot is subtly implied, so pay attention!
So what did I take issue with? Kill Your Darlings doesn't take a true story and embellish a little. Kill Your Darlings rewrites history. It freely omits, rearranges, and injects elements that take a true story and turn it into a complete work of fiction.
Kill Your Darlings is a great movie, but I was disappointed in the liberties taken with the source material.
There are pictures of the actual characters during the start of the credits.
