Review of Kill Your Darlings (2013) by Paris H — 23 Oct 2013
Early days of the friendships in the beat generation; Ginsberg, Burroughs & Kerouac, tells the less well known story of David Kammerer's murder by Lucien Carr. It's a small budget film, but nevertheless well made, with a solid cast, Dane DeHaan is particularly good as the charismatic and intense Lucien, Radcliffe as Ginsberg is boldly, hobbity, hairyly, naked.
Well acted all around, educational yes, plenty of promise but overall misses a notch here or there. Still worth a go see.
