I imagined David Kammerer completely different before, a slimy aggressive bully so I read, but I trust the movies depiction here more than my reading. I am glad. Also about young Mr Carr, and the whole gang.
Finally a pretty good movie about the beat generation, the only one after Robert Frank's "Pull My Daisy". More honest and true than beat and exciting and good, so more Kerouac than Ginsberg or Borroughs, but I'm okay with that.
