Review of Kill Your Darlings (2013) by Lori B — 05 Apr 2014
Starts slow. In fact, I almost didn't finish watching it because it took me awhile to connect with it. But then the actors, particularly Radcliffe DeHaan, develop some amazing chemistry, and that carries the film out of the doldrums and turns it into a solid thriller and a fascinating character study.
Despite my background as an English major (and a fan of Kerouac's work), I actually know very little about the Beat poets biographically, so this ended up being a very interesting movie for me.
