Review of Kill Your Darlings (2013) by Tom H — 17 May 2014
Nice piece of literary history. Tightly written, this film doesn't always offer enough information for people not familiar with the Beat Generation. It is also difficult to identify with the main characters leaving the viewers oddly detached from the events unfolding before their eyes.
Any fears about Daniel Radcliffe being in over his head are quickly dispelled. Together with Dane DeHaan, he forms a formidable team. Bottom line: Not only for the bookish.
