Review of Kill Your Darlings (2013) by Ryan W — 28 Jul 2014
I liked this a lot more than I was expecting to. It's a film full of ideas that were conceived by the writers and poets of the beat generation, mainly focusing on Allen Ginsberg.
The story follows the events leading to a murder and how this pivotal event and those involved in it changed Allen Ginsberg's life. It's something I knew very little about but it provoked interest to find out more which is a sign of a well made film.
I thought the actors fitted their roles very well, well worth seeing, even for just a spot on period drama.
