Review of Kill the Messenger (2014) by Franzhcritic — 01 Jul 2015
The film may be well made, I'll admit to that much. But I cannot applaud a film for factual inaccuracies when it shows the disclaimer 'based on a true story'. I find a film intentionally skipping facts to make it a more 'interesting movie' is tasteless.
The narrative structure is flawed, especially with the constant usage, almost dependence on archive footage, which makes the film less consistent. The acting I cannot criticise, yet I wouldn't call it 'Oscar worthy' either.
