Review of Kill the Irishman (2011) by Greg B — 16 Mar 2011
Went to a 1:15 show on a Mon afternoon and it was nearly sold out. They get the facts right but the movie's straight-to-dvd budget leaves you longing. Ray Stevens was perfect as Greene, but the rest of the movie--particularly Walken as Shandor Byrnes -- is wildly miscast.
Think the Myth of Danny Greene was better.
Fun fact: in the summer of 1976, 36 bombs were set off within the Cleveland city limits...good times!
