Review of Kill the Irishman (2011) by Dave R — 22 Apr 2011
A pretty good film about the rise and fall of real life cleveland irish gangster danny greene. I was familiar with the story already from having read about him and seen some documentary material about the gang war. while the story is well executed, it lacks any real outstanding and memorable performances - despite the interesting cast.
Worth watching if you like mob films, but don't expect too much. if you can find the 1984 documentary "crime inc" (part 3) you can see the actual people and places in this story.
