Review of Kill the Irishman (2011) by Brittany R — 09 Jun 2011
I've had a soft spot for gangsters since The Sopranos, so I was pretty interested in seeing this one. True stories are usually the best ones, and this was a pretty decent one to watch. One of my two issues is the muddled "relationship" between Greene and Kilmer's character, who is also the narrator.
The other is the special effects. If you're going to blow up a bunch of cars, do it right every time. Some were decent, and some you could just see all CGI or whatever they used to create it.
