Review of Kill the Irishman (2011) by Matthew K — 16 Jun 2011
Not a great film, but interesting to watch considering the story is about a number of bombs going off in Cleveland, Ohio (my short-distant neighboring city) because of an Irishman named Danny Greene. And since it's based on a true story, I would say I enjoyed watching this particular moment in Ohio history, a series of events that I wasn't aware of.
I also enjoy it when a movie that's based on true events, infuses real news footage into the film.
