Review of Kill the Irishman (2011) by Alex G — 19 Oct 2011
A very interesting story with great actors delivers one fairly standard and heartless (in the sense that it is very bland and never goes that deep into characters) film. I wanted to love this but instead it passed the time well enough.
It is an unfortunate case where the director and screenwriter seem to have no heart in what they are doing. It is a film where scenes feel thrown and the point of whole sections seems to only be that they must have happened in real life. This film feels like a straight re-telling of a man's life with no real eye for "Storytelling." The acting was solid though.
