Review of Kill the Irishman (2011) by Jay A — 08 Mar 2012
Ray Stevenson did a good job portraying Greene ( I knew Danny & Shondor), Christopher Walken played Christopher Walken, not Shondor, very sad. Lazy Producers & Directors habits jump out at you when you spot that the Theatrical Grill, where I lunched often from 1961 to 1969, was classier than many clubs in Vegas.
Their Theatrical looked like a dump! Also, Danny was killed by my lawyer's office building @ Brainard Rd. & I-271, in upscale Lyndhurst, Ohio; so the scene with the kids on bikes in the slums of Detroit & the bomber driving by was either pure laziness, or stupidity.
The bomber(s) were parked about 4 rows away so they could see what they were doing. They had a chance to make a memorable movie, & laziness blew it!
