Review of Kill Me Three Times (2015) by Marc G — 06 Sep 2015

Just kill me already...

So this movie is nothing like I expected it to be because it went from zero to The Big Bounce so fast( The Big Bounce is a bad movie if you didnt know ). Anyways Spoilers... So I went into this thinking I was gonna see a Simon Pegg movie as usual, especially when I see him front and center on the cover. He was the main character I guess but he wasn't really the main focus of the movie, they try to make you become attached to the cast but honestly I felt no connection at all to anyone except the Pegg character. Everyone was pulling a con on everyone else people were dying left and right and I truly just didn't care, I was sitting there like ya kill em all hahaha. This movie had a bad twist like 10 minutes I mean the final twist involves two people who you don't care about, one who's only in the movie for like 5 minutes winning the day and driving away together after one of them was drugged, beat up, fell down a cliff in a burning car, climbed through the wilderness with no shoes chased down some cars jumped an electrified fence and saved the day. This movie isn't all bad Pegg and Teresa Palmer give decent performances Bryan Brown plays the same bad ass he always does, everyone else is pretty bad though. I see what they were going for but it's such a used and abused plot format for a film. I don't mean to rag so hard on this movie its definitley not the worst movie ever, I just expected more especially with the cast it had, and it is watchable if your a Pegg fan for sure but then that you can find better movies in the same genre with a similar plot. I wish Simon Pegg would stop taking roles in straight to video quality independent movie that throws money his way.
