Review of Kill List (2011) by Phillipé S — 14 Jul 2013

The ONLY reason this is getting two stars is because 1) the performances are top notch and 2) visually, its rather captivating. Otherwise this is nonsense. There is a decent build up with increasing and somewhat sustained dread, but the promise of an undisclosed back story or missing key information is never seen through to its conclusion.

Its rife with false starts and blank moments that seem way too vague surrounding an act as explicit as assassination. Someone paid for these people to be killed, someone paid to see this movie, thankfully I was a party to neither.
