If Kill Bill, Vol. 1 were meant to mimic the styles of old Japanese and Chinese kung-fu films, then this was meant to take on Spaghetti Westerns. While I prefer the first one to the second one (I'm more of an Asian cinema fanboy), both are excellent films and entirely watchable in one sitting - despite the long running time.
