Stylistically rich and entertaining as it is, Kill Bill lacks the substance it initially promised. Midway through the rather ridiculous Japanese bloodbath I had sadly lost interest. Shame Tarantino hadn't placed as much importance on the storyline as there was on the gushing blood geysers!
