Review of Kill, Baby... Kill! (1966) by Cathleen K — 14 Jun 2007
Welcome to the village, meet Melissa! Maestro Bava transports you to a fog shrouded world were the laws of time and space are warped in candied color delight. I find this movie to be similar to a Lovecraft story. While thematically it is not in the same vein as most of Lovecraft's stories, the movies settings and scenery exude a Lovecraftian mood and tone.
It is tantalizing to imagine what Bava would have done with a Lovecraft story.
So what are you waiting for go see it, now.
