Review of Kill, Baby... Kill! (1966) by Josh G — 03 Aug 2007
"Atmospheric" is the right word to describe KILL, BABY, KILL. While the movie does keep a suspenseful air throughout, by scenery mainly, that's not really enough to give it a high rating.
The story moves at a crawl and none of the characters are developed well at all. The "twist" ending may have been original in 1968, but I find it doubtful. For PG-rated horror, it's pretty good, but even the "scary" parts get boring because when you think it's building toward the ending, you've still got twenty minutes to go.
The re-make, when and if it is or was made, ought to be better.
