Review of Kill, Baby... Kill! (1966) by Marko B — 14 Jan 2008
Through the use of ornate set design and primary colors to embellish the eerie early twentieth-century town and its supernatural goings-on, Bava once again demonstrates the palpable horror he can conjure up on an ultra-low budget (this probably being his lowest).
The pale-faced spirit that spells death for all those that come into contact with her is just as genuinely creepy here as it was in Felllini's segment for SPIRITS OF THE DEAD. So many great moments -- another is the rupturing of the space-time continuum, resulting in our lead hero literally running after himself in a paradox.
