Some geniunely creepy moments in Bava's low budget classic. A feverish nightmare of primary colors and ornate set designs, this film would continue to resonate in horror cinema well into the 70's, paving the way for a new wave of Italian directors like Dario Argento and his son, Lamberto Bava.
