A good ghost story, nicely directed by Mario Bava. The actors aren't so great, but the characters are interesting, strange, and surprising. The movie is sort of confusing at first, but it's a mystery, and you figure it out by the end.
It's a cool, slightly surrea,l Gothic ghost story, and if you like Bava's work, you should check it out.
