Review of Kids (2013) by Reny G — 14 May 2010
Good movies don't have to entertain, people. They need only captivate and enthrall and have an effect. "Kids" is a brilliantly presented film that does these two things. It is well-written, well filmed, and well directed.
Is it disgusting? Amoral? Shocking? Time-to-time darkly hilarious? Yes, yes, and yes. And that is where its "heart" is, ladies and gentlemen. Also, anyone that sees this movie and doesn't love Casper is dumb.
The fact that I've never heard about his character means my generation failed by not having him be our voice.
