Kidnap is directed by Luis Prieto and written by Knate Gwaltney. The film stars Halle Berry, Lew Temple, Sage Correa and Chris McGinn. The films follows a mother who tries to rescue her abducted son from dangerous kidnappers.

Boy oh boy, if theres a film that was shelved for the right reason, don't show it!! The screenplay was developed in 2009, started production in 2014, shelved in 2015 and released two years later. This film is a complete rip off, throughout the film shows two plot lines from two movies. Steven Spielberg first movie: Duel and 2008's: Taken.

Halle Berry gives it her all in her performance, but the story, cinematography, look and feel, character development, everything just everything is not good at all. This is just another cash grab from the studio that went bankrupt and now in new ownership and releasing all the shelved movies that was never to be show in the to the world. I really recommend not seeing Kidnap.

Grade: 2/10.
