Kicking and Screaming has a few very funny moments (when Ferrell pushes the kid over), but it relies too heavily on Will Ferrell to carry the humour. As a bit artist or surrounded by other comedic actors (such as Old School), Ferrell is a genius.
However, without help the result is woeful.
