Review of Kicking and Screaming (1995) by Kyle G — 01 Jul 2012
A great detour to a family comedy, wasn't it for the overwhelming Will Ferrell who makes a total sersonality change throughout this competitive kids-soccer-coaching, due to extensive coffee drinking, which I found outmost entertaining.
Funny kids, each with their own flaws and characteristics. The competition-game between him and his dad, created by a troubled youth along with getting Mike Ditka on his side is great. A lot is overdone, histerically speaking, as for the the acting and deliverance, that's pretty succesfull, the whole movie is, espeially for a feel-good ending.
Great!
