Review of Kickboxer: Vengeance (2016) by Borhan K — 28 Oct 2016
Kickboxer 2 A story on its own. A young fighter comes to Thailand to take vengeance for his brother's death.
This time around he is being stopped by the local authorities although he gets put into protection under the watchful eye if JCVD.
Jean-Claude Van Damme then trains him to be prepared to face his brother's killer in a no holds bar Muy Tai fight.
The fight scenes are good but I feel that I have seen far more realistic fight scenes.
The movie also stars Gina Carano which is kinda strange cause she does nothing for the film. You also get to see Frabico Werdum which in all honesty I missed did not see him.
Cain Velasquez had a decent fight scene fighting JCVD and you get to see a drunken version of GSP. If you are a fan of MMA this movie is great you see fighters in a different light.
However I do not feel that this is as good as the first one. If your a fan of the first one or a fan of JCVD watch it.
Kiddies should stay away.
