Review of Kickboxer: Vengeance (2016) by Valentine D — 01 Sep 2016
I do not understand where the 17mil budget went towards in this spectacular failure. I'll start with the only positives for movie. It looks beautiful with some great locations chosen. Dave Bautista was a great Tong Po.
Onto the negative, the first rule to any martial arts movie is to make the fights well done. Quick cuts totally ruin the fights scenes requiring other aspects such as great acting to pick up the slack which was not evident.
In conclusion it's worth a watch if you are a fan of the original especially, but it's a forgettable movie on it's own with zero re-watch value given many of the noticeable flaws.
