Review of Kickboxer: Vengeance (2016) by Daniel M — 15 Dec 2016
Kickboxer: Vengeance captures the magic of the first Kickboxer movie more so than any other squeal prior. This can easily be chalked up to the return of JCVD to the franchise. He's the same lack of emotion , no non sense actor you either love or hate and at the age of 56 could still compete in some illegal fighting tournaments himself.
I really would've love to hear what his character had been up to and let all the actors characters be developed. The story has potential enough to keep your interest throughout if your fan of martial arts.
Sure some fight scenes and plot holes stick out but overall if you want a questy story of redemption and vengeance than youll do fine in this film.
