This British-American film directed by Matthew Vaughn is funny, cunning and entertaining. Aaron Johnson plays an ordinary, comic book-loving teenager named Dave, who purchases a suit, roams the city impersonating a superhero, armed with weak weapons, and gets involved with real-life crime.

Eventually, he becomes known as 'Kick-Ass'. He gets caught up with a gang and is quickly outnumbered when a young vigilante named Hit Girl saves him. The movie is bold, has a good soundtrack, and is filled with plenty of crisp action scenes to satisfy.
