Garbage and lazy sequel to an original and creative film, Kick-ass 2 fails to capture the blend of comedy, action and drama that made Kick-ass so good. The film is poorly written with cliche and predicable plotting.

The film's only saving grace seems to be Chloe Grace Moretz, who reprises her role as Hit Girl and delivers the only good acting to be found in this film. Kick-ass 2 is filled with over-the-top villains and unlikeable characters.

Jim Carrey, yet again, proves to be an annoying actor with no talent what so ever. The direction here is sloppy, bland, and atrocious and along with the poorly written script proves to be the film's downfall.

Kick-ass 2 is one of the most disappointing and worst films of the year. If you were a fan of the first one, then I recommend you steer away from this mess because you will be disappointed, annoyed, and uninterested in this lazy sequel.
