Review of Kick-Ass 2 (2013) by Bill Goodykoontz for Arizona Republic — 14 Aug 2013
Kick-Ass 2 has a mean-spirited vigilante streak the first film lacked (it seemed more concerned with justice, in its way), as well as a fatigue. It’s still funny, particularly when Hit Girl spews profanity and wields weapons.
It’s just not as good.
