Review of Kick-Ass 2 (2013) by Rod E — 18 Feb 2014

A decent sequel to the surprisingly good Kick-Ass, Kick-Ass 2 teeters on being good and being weak. Some of the effects were dodgy and some were well done. Decent action and somewhat interesting characters can be brought down by the lame subplot of Mindy in school dealing with the snob clique as well as the majority of scenes with McLovin.

Jim Carrey was the highlight of Kick-Ass 2 and while his screen time is relatively short, he delivered a backbone.
