Review of Kick-Ass 2 (2013) by Bradford L — 25 Feb 2014

I really don't understand people sometimes. I am seeing a lot of reviews saying how everything that made the first movie good is gone in this one. I can't disagree more I loved this film when I saw it in theaters and am glad to have it in my collection now.

I feel like most of the elements that made the first Kick-Ass great are still here in the sequel. The characters, the humor, the over the top violence, all that is here. My biggest complaint comes from something that would require me to spoil the movie if I explained it.

That being said it was something I could get over. If you didn't like the first film this one will not change your mind at all. If you did I'd say at the very least give it a rental.
