Surprisingly not as bad as the original, but still full of gratuitous stuff that could have easily been cut. In fact, I almost found this sequel to be milder than the original and for that I am thankful.
At any rate, the natural progression for this type of series was definitely covered in "Kick-Ass 2", so this was really nothing out of the ordinary.
