Review of Kick-Ass 2 (2013) by Sed P — 14 Mar 2014

Kick-Ass 2 is a very enjoyable comic book film. This film takes place a few years after the first installment, and builds off of it nicely. Chloe Grace Moretz returns to reprise her role as Hit GIrl, and does an excellent job all around. I really liked how they portrayed her inner struggle to continue to fight crime or quit the game. As good as Moretz was, the man who stole the show was none other than Jim Carrey. Each and every scene Carry appeared in was his from the beginning. Kick-Ass 2 not only provides very nice action sequences, but also continues the very good touch of humor from its predecessor. This film very much worth at least one watch.
