Review of Kick-Ass 2 (2013) by Matthew C — 13 Apr 2014

Despite loving the first kick-ass, I have to say I was slightly disapointed with this, no where near as bad as the reviews say but it does have its flaws. You see plenty of mindy in here but not enough hit-girl, she only really gets in the spotlight at the end and the film feels like its focussing on her social life than her vigilante one.

However, Johnson and mintz-plasse are back and the tension between the two brings up quite afew laughs, but the fun of the two being unexperienced in every way in the first film was much funner, in here they both become relatively experienced fighters which isnt as great as it sounds.

Also look out for Jim Carrey who makes a great appearance as colonel stars and stripes who has some of the highlights if the movie for me.
