Review of Kick-Ass 2 (2013) by Bill B — 21 Jan 2015

I was happy to finally get around to seeing this via cable, just because it seemed easier than blind-buying it, and because I'd heard so many mixed things, all of which were unfortunately true.

This never manages to achieve the fun levels of nerdiness and violence of the previous film, and the action bits are almost incomprehensible at times, presumably because the director doesn't know how to shoot them to give you a sense of geography.

It's passable, but only a rental at best.
