Review of Kick-Ass 2 (2013) by Jacob G — 24 Mar 2014

I really liked the first Kick-Ass and was really looking forward to its sequel, until I saw that Matthew Vaughan wasn't really involved and then got worried when I saw poor reviews. As much as I loved the first film, this one was really lacking a lot of the feel of the first one and had some pointless subplots.

Hit Girl is definitely best character and she spent 90% of the film trying not to be Hit Girl. Overall not a terrible film, but a disappointing follow-up to one of my favorite films from a few years ago.
