Review of Key Largo (1948) by George F — 20 Feb 2010
What a disappointment. Maybe I set myself up for it. I had watched "To Have And Have Not" which was awesome for how steamy it was between Bogart and Bacall. I thought they were famous for their on screen romance and I thought Key Largo was there most famous movie together.
So, when I watched it and there was pretty much zero romance between them I guess I was disappointed. The movie over all was okay but I guess as so much has copied it it's hard to get excited about anything in particular.
Still, I enjoyed it. It just didn't stick out as an amazing classic.
