Review of Keeping the Faith (2000) by Jeremy C — 03 Jul 2008
The movie is funny, witty, enjoyable, and features great performances and dialogue from everyone, but the main problem is that it is extremely predictable and wears out its welcome and drags in some sections.
I found myself liking Edward Norton's character significantly more than Ben Stiller's typical nice-guy-who-means- well-but-makes-silly-decisions-and-finds-himself-in-awkward-situations character.
In fact, I hated the character and feld bad for Norton, which may or may not have been the movie's intent; whether or not this is the case, it ruined the movie quite a bit.
