Review of Keeping the Faith (2000) by Tara V — 20 Aug 2008
Ok so a priest walks into a bar right. No i'm not telling you an old lame joke, a priest really does walk in to a bar in this wickedly funny romantic comedy. Edward Norton is Father Brian Finn and his best friend (Ben Stiller) is Rabbi Jacob Schram, these two friends work and live in the ever bustling New York.
When there best friend comes for a business trip they find themselves falling headover heels for her. Only problem is, only ones going to win. This is a totally new spin on romantic comedies with some great lines and suprisingly deep religious speeches, this film is a must see.
For me Edward Norton is the stand out preformer, Elfman following shortly behind. Its a battle between faith, bestfriends and love. Great movie!
